Hope in Hard Times
The books of Haggai and Malachi reveal that though God has brought His people back home after exile in Babylon, things are not what they hoped for. Life is hard and painful, God seems distant, and hope seems lost. In the midst of these hard times, Haggai and Malachi offer God’s people renewed hope with a call to repentance and faith God’s promises—a hope that we need in our hard times today as we await the fulfillment of God’s promises in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
