Aubrey Sequeira - Senior Pastor
Aubrey and his wife Nishika were born and raised in Chennai, India. Aubrey was a rock musician before the Lord saved him. After completing his Bachelor's in Engineering, Aubrey worked in the IT industry for several years while engaging in bi-vocational ministry and church planting. In 2010, following the Lord's call to vocational ministry, Aubrey enrolled at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he completed an M.Div and a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology while serving a local church in various capacities. Aubrey and Nishika love spending time with people, understanding new cultures, and trying new ethnic foods. They have been blessed with three delightful little girls.
Will Barkley - Associate Pastor
Since 2015, Will has served in cross-cultural church planting and pastoring in Indonesia and the USA. Before his arrival in Abu Dhabi, Will served as the associate pastor for outreach and theological education at Indian Trail Church in Spokane, WA. While at ITC, he was directly involved with pastoral residency and internship programs focused on training pastors to serve throughout the Pacific Northwest Region. Will holds a Master of Divinity degree from Bethlehem College & Seminary and currently serves as a board member of Gulf Theological Seminary. Will is married to Theresa and they have three wonderful children.
Ben Zamora - Associate Pastor
Ben grew up in California in the USA. At the age of 18, the Lord gave him a heart for missions and serving the local church overseas. He received a BA in Church Leadership & World Missions. Over the years, he has served in various capacities within the local church, but especially in youth ministries and he loves working with students & parents. After moving to Colorado, Ben met Camryn and they married in 2006. They have four wonderful children. Ben is an extrovert and a foodie. He loves meeting people, being adventurous, camping, hunting, and anything outdoors, but more than anything, he loves spending time with his family.
Jherssey Ang - Office Coordinator
Jherssey was born and raised in the Philippines. She married Ruther Paul in 2015 and they have two children, Zyrel and Zion. She graduated in 2008 with a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She came to faith in Christ during her teenage years and has served in missions and church planting as a volunteer nurse. She moved to Abu Dhabi with Ruther Paul in 2015 and became a member of ECC in 2016.
Innah Teodoro - Communications Coordinator
Innah was born and raised in the Philippines but has spent the majority of her teen years living in Abu Dhabi. In 2018, she graduated from Abu Dhabi University with a degree in Mass Communication specializing in Broadcast Journalism. Innah became a member of ECC in 2017. She enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, and taking photos.
Yolleth Trujillo - Children's Ministry Coordinator
Yolleth was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. She married Devon in 2009 and they have two girls, Jovianne and Julianne. She came to faith in her teenage years. After finishing her Engineering degree she moved to Aruba. Over there she started to get involved in Missions Ministry, also being active on numerous Vacation Bible School for kids at her home church. She and her family have been living in Abu Dhabi since 2013 and she has been serving in Awana since 2014. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and snorkeling.
Catherine Bandong - Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant
Catherine was born and raised in the Philippines. She married Ian Carlo in February 2022. She came to faith in Christ during her teenage years and served in the Kids Ministry, assisting in the Sunday Services, back in her home church. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Financial & Management Accounting and has worked in Bahrain for a few years. She moved to Abu Dhabi and joined ECC in May 2021. Currently, she is in the Marhaba Ministry, loving the opportunity to meet, greet and serve people. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, and going camping.
Cheryl Anacan-Castardo - Administrative Intern
Cheryl was born and raised in Iloilo, Philippines. In 2018, she graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in animal science. In the same year, she came to faith in Christ and started getting involved in various ministries at church. She served in the children, youth, and women’s ministries. Cheryl got married to Kim in June 2023 and together they enjoy cooking, listening to music, and trying different foods.
Kim Castardo - Pastoral Apprentice (2023–2024)
Kim was born and raised in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. At the age of 18, he started being involved in missions and church planting in Manila and did that from 2012 to 2015. Since then, Kim has been served in local churches as an associate pastor and in 2020 earned his Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry majoring in Biblical Studies. Kim married Cheryl in June 2023 and together they enjoy music, movies, and cooking.
Nikoli (Kyle) Quevedo - Pastoral Apprentice (2023–2024)
Kyle was born and raised in the Philippines. He has served in the church since high school as a volunteer and eventually served in leadership positions. Kyle earned his Bachelor of Theology from Foursquare Bible College in 2010. He was involved in various ministries including music, missions, children's and teens ministries, as well as preaching and teaching. He enjoys talking about the gospel and encouraging others about the love of Christ. Kyle is currently engaged and looks forward to getting married to his fiance when he returns to the Philippines after the Apprenticeship program.
Nana Yeboah - Pastoral Apprentice (2023–2024)
Nana was raised as a Roman Catholic and attended a Catholic minor seminary in Ghana. He desired to become a priest, but at the age of 18, this desire waned after he was born again. Nana earned a professional doctorate in Medical Laboratory Science from the University for Development Studies, where he held a Bible study during his final four years. In January 2023, he helped begin a fellowship named "Goshen" in his hometown of Sunyani-Abesim. Nana enjoys discussing the Bible with friends and watching football as a fervent Manchester United fan.
