Aubrey Sequeira - Senior Pastor
Aubrey and his wife Nishika were born and raised in Chennai, India. Aubrey was a rock musician before the Lord saved him. After completing his Bachelor's in Engineering, Aubrey worked in the IT industry for several years while engaging in bi-vocational ministry and church planting. In 2010, following the Lord's call to vocational ministry, Aubrey enrolled at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he completed an M.Div and a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology while serving a local church in various capacities. Aubrey and Nishika love spending time with people, understanding new cultures, and trying new ethnic foods. They have been blessed with three delightful little girls.
Will Barkley - Associate Pastor
Since 2015, Will has served in cross-cultural church planting and pastoring in Indonesia and the USA. Before his arrival in Abu Dhabi, Will served as the associate pastor for outreach and theological education at Indian Trail Church in Spokane, WA. While at ITC, he was directly involved with pastoral residency and internship programs focused on training pastors to serve throughout the Pacific Northwest Region. Will holds a Master of Divinity degree from Bethlehem College & Seminary and currently serves as a board member of Gulf Theological Seminary. Will is married to Theresa and they have three wonderful children.
J.P. Stokes - Associate Pastor
J.P. has served in pastoral ministry, church planting, pastoral training, and various other roles in India, Nepal, the USA, and the Middle East. He is passionate about training people for gospel ministry and seeing people sent out to proclaim the good news. J.P. holds an M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Megan, and together they have four amazing children.
Brett Lewis - Pastoral Resident
Brett was born and raised in Florida, USA and he came to know the Lord as a teenager. He holds a M. Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and was sent to ECC by Del Ray Baptist Church in Virginia, USA. Brett is married to his amazing wife, Mandy, and they have been blessed with one son, Zeke. Brett loves the local church and desires to serve as a pastor. Brett and Mandy enjoy having people in their home, playing or watching sports, learning about new cultures (especially the foods!), and reading good books
Reshma Mathews - Women's Care & Discipleship Assistant
Reshma was born and raised in Kerala, India. The Lord saved her when she started attending a gospel-preaching church in the US. Since then, the local church has been her second home where she has served in various ministries, including children, youth, and counseling. Reshma holds an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is sent by Kenwood Baptist Church at Victory Memorial, USA. She is also certified as a Biblical Counselor by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Reshma loves spending time with people, sharing life and the counsel of God through his Word, trying different cuisines, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
Innah Teodoro - Communications & Events Coordinator
Innah was born and raised in the Philippines but has spent the majority of her teen years living in Abu Dhabi. In 2018, she graduated from Abu Dhabi University with a degree in Mass Communication specializing in Broadcast Journalism. Innah became a member of ECC in 2017. She enjoys going on long walks, watching movies, and taking photos.
Yolleth Trujillo - Family Ministry & Membership Coordinator
Yolleth was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. She married Devon in 2009 and they have two girls, Jovianne and Julianne. She came to faith in her teenage years. After finishing her Engineering degree she moved to Aruba. Over there she started to get involved in Missions Ministry, also being active on numerous Vacation Bible School for kids at her home church. She and her family have been living in Abu Dhabi since 2013 and she has been serving in Awana since 2014. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and snorkeling.
Catherine Bandong - Finance & Office Administrator
Catherine was born and raised in the Philippines. She married Ian Carlo in February 2022. She came to faith in Christ during her teenage years and served in the Kids Ministry, assisting in the Sunday Services, back in her home church. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Financial & Management Accounting and has worked in Bahrain for a few years. She moved to Abu Dhabi and joined ECC in May 2021. Currently, she is in the Marhaba Ministry, loving the opportunity to meet, greet and serve people. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, and going camping.
Jivan Dahal - Pastoral Apprentice (2024–2025)
Jivan was born in India and grew up in Nepal. Jivan served as an elder at Bethesda Baptist Church for a year and was also involved in youth ministry for three years as a trainer. He worked in the Middle East for some time and helped a local church by serving as a choir leader. Jivan desires to share the gospel and further study the Bible. He is married to Diksha and they have one daughter. Jivan loves to sing and play the guitar for God's glory.
Marlin Erasmus - Pastoral Apprentice (2024–2025)
Marlin is from Cape Town, South Africa. He became a Christian when he was 18 years old and since then, has had a passion to serve and help young people. He served in the youth ministry of the churches he was previously a part of. In 2019, he began studying online at a Christian college in South Africa while also being trained at the local church. Marlin is married to Yasmine and they enjoy doing ministry together.
Abrham Habtemariam - Pastoral Apprentice (2024–2025)
Abrham was born and raised in Ethiopia. The Lord saved him when he was in high school. He grew more in the knowledge of God and healthy teaching during his freshman year at college. While at college, he actively participated in Bible studies. In 2024, Abrham graduated from Mekelle University with a BSc in Civil Engineering. He enjoys playing and watching football and loves to explore foods from different cultures. Additionally, Abrham values spending time with friends and trying new experiences.
Jack Qayteem - Pastoral Apprentice (2024–2025)
Jack was born and raised in Homs, Syria. Jack came to faith in 2012 while he was in high school. He has served in various ministries in the church such as preaching, leading small groups, youth ministry, IT and media at the Baptist Church in Homs. He is married to Christina.
Haniel Tadesse - Pastoral Apprentice (2024–2025)
Haniel was born and raised in Ethiopia. He grew up in a Christian family, which provided him with the opportunity to serve in the church from a young age, particularly in the music ministry. Throughout his college years, he was actively involved in the college fellowship, coordinating small groups and participating in the music ministry. Haniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
