God's Plan for Sex

Sexual immorality was rampant in ancient Greek culture, and especially in the ancient city of Corinth. No wonder Paul command the Corinthians: "Flee from sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18)! But is that all the Bible teaches us about our sexuality? Is sex and sexual desire simply something bad to be avoided and suppressed? Is all sexuality immoral, or is there a good and God-honoring way to express our sexuality? Having warned against sexual immorality in chapter 6, Paul now teaches us in chapter 7 how to "glorify God with your body" (1 Corinthians 6:20).
