At ECC, we have 3 main goals for our teen ministry: Faith, Friendship, and Fun. First, we want to spur teens on to faith in Christ. This is why we devote a portion of our time together to studying God’s Word and also why we discuss God’s Word in small groups at our Friday night teen ministry. Our prayer is that these times will encourage teens toward faith in Christ despite the various challenges they are encountering in their lives. Second, we want to promote friendship amongst teens. We pray that our teens would grow close to one another and build friendships that highlight the gospel. In addition, we hope that teens will build friendships with adult members at ECC who serve in our teen ministry so that they can see what it looks like to follow Jesus from a mature believer. Third, we want to have fun! We often play games together and laugh with one another at our teen ministry night on Friday.
