Aspirations for 2022

With each new year comes a unique opportunity to reevaluate our priorities and identify areas for growth. Many people set fitness or financial goals for themselves, and many of us would like to set spiritual goals as well. But what goals should we set for ourselves? What are we striving towards? To answer that question, we want to look back to the book of Acts, to the formation of the church. Acts 2:42 says “And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” And then we see in verse 47 the result of this- that the Lord was saving people and adding to their number. So this year together as a church and as individuals we want to be growing in these four areas- Prayer, Evangelism, God’s Word, and Loving Fellowship.
