O LORD, My Foes Are Multiplied (Psalm 3)

Verse 1
O LORD, my foes are multiplied;
Against me many rise
They say of me, "He has no help,
Though he on God relies."

Verse 2
But You, my shield and glory, LORD,
My head You lifted high
And from His holy hill, the LORD
Gave answer to my cry.

Verse 3
I lay down, slept, and woke again;
The LORD sustains my life.
I will not fear ten thousand strong
Surrounding me with strife.

Verse 4
LORD, rise and save me, O my God;
For You subdue my foes.
You strike the jaw of wicked men,
And smash their teeth with blows.

Verse 5
Deliverance is of the LORD,
To grant it as He will;
O may the blessing that You give
Be on Your people still.

O LORD, My God, I Take Refuge (Psalm 7)

Verse 1
O LORD, my God, I take refuge in You;
O save me from all those who have pursued.
Lest they should tear me like lions with prey;
With none to rescue, they’d drag me away.

Verse 2
O LORD, my God, if my hands were unjust,
Harming my foes or my friends in their trust,
Let my pursuer come near and surround,
Trampling my life in the dust of the ground.

Verse 3
LORD, rise in anger, and be my defense
Against my enemy’s rage so intense;
Rise, bring the judgment that You have decreed.
Let peoples come and with You gathered be.

Verse 4
Come back to rule over them from on high.
The LORD will judge as the nations draw nigh.
My cause is right, LORD, O vindicate me;
Judge me as You my integrity see.

Verse 5
O let the evil of wicked men cease,
And all the righteous establish in peace;
God who is righteous examines and finds
All of the depths of men’s hearts and their minds.

Reformation Song

Verse 1
Your Word alone is solid ground,
The mighty rock on which we build;
In every line the truth is found,
And every page with glory filled.

Verse 2
Through faith alone we come to You;
We have no merit we can claim.
Sure that Your promises are true,
We place our hope in Jesus’ name.

Chorus
Gloria, gloria, glory to God alone!
Gloria, gloria, glory to God alone!

Verse 3
In Christ alone we’re justified;
His righteousness is all our plea.
Your law’s demands are satisfied;
His perfect work has set us free.

Chorus

Verse 4
By grace alone we have been saved;
All that we are has come from You.
Hearts that were once by sin enslaved,
Now by Your pow’r have been made new! (2x)

Chorus (2x)

How Rich a Treasure We Possess

Verse 1
How rich a treasure we possess
In Jesus Christ, our Lord.
His blood, our ransom and defense;
His glory, our reward.

The sum of all created things
Are worthless in compare,
For our inheritance is Him
Whose praise angels declare.

Verse 2
How free and costly was the love
Displayed upon the cross;
While we were dead in untold sin,
The Sov’reign purchased us.

The will of God the Father,
Demonstrated through the Son;
The Spirit seals the greatest work,
The work which Christ has done.

Chorus 1
For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory!
Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory!
Amen!

Verse 3
How vast and measureless the flood
Of mercy unrestrained.
The penalty was paid in full;
The spotless Lamb was slain.

Salvation, what a priceless gift,
Received by grace through faith.
We stand in robes of righteousness;
We stand in Jesus’ Name.

Chorus 2
For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory!
Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory! (3x)
Amen!

O Church Arise

Verse 1
O, church arise and put your armor on;
Hear the call of Christ our captain.
For now the weak can say that they are strong
In the strength that God has given.

With shield of faith and belt of truth,
We’ll stand against the devil’s lies;
An army bold whose battle cry is love,
Reaching out to those in darkness.

Verse 2
Our call to war, to love the captive soul,
But to rage against the captor;
And with the sword that makes the wounded whole,
We will fight with faith and valor.

When faced with trials on ev’ry side,
We know the outcome is secure;
And Christ will have the prize for which He died:
An inheritance of nations.

Verse 3
Come, see the cross where love and mercy meet,
As the Son of God is stricken;
Then see His foes lie crushed beneath His feet,
For the Conqueror has risen!

And as the stone is rolled away,
And Christ emerges from the grave,
This vict’ry march continues till the day
Ev’ry eye and heart will see Him.

Verse 4
So Spirit, come, put strength in ev’ry stride;
Give grace for ev’ry hurdle,
That we may run with faith to win the prize
Of a servant good and faithful.

As saints of old still line the way,
Retelling triumphs of His grace,
We hear their calls and hunger for the day
When, with Christ, we stand in glory.

O Church of Christ, Invincible

Verse 1
O Church of Christ invincible,
The people of the Lord;
Empowered by the Spirit’s breath,
And nourished by His word.

His covenant of grace will be
Our portion evermore;
For He who called us will not change,
Our help and our reward.

Verse 2
O chosen people called by grace,
The sons of Abraham,
Who walk by faith in things unseen
And on His promise stand,

That ev'ry nation of the earth
Will hear of boundless love
That causes broken hearts to heal
And pays our debts with blood.

Verse 3
O Church of Christ in sorrow now,
Where evil lies in wait,
When trials and persecutions come
This light will never fade.

For though the hordes of hell may rage,
Their pow'r will not endure;
Our times are in the Father's hand,
Our anchor is secure.

Verse 4
O Church of Christ upon that day,
When all are gathered in,
When ev'ry tear is wiped away
With ev'ry trace of sin;

Where justice, truth, and beauty shine,
And death has passed away;
Where God and man will dwell as one,
For all eternity!
