Poured Out for the Gospel

March 2, 2018 Preacher: Jeramie Rinne Series: Acts: The Gospel to the Ends of the Earth

Topic: Expository Scripture: Acts 20:1– 21:16

Synopsis: Are you a spiritual consumer or a spiritual provider? Do you treat the church as a place that exists to meet your needs or do you come to church to serve other church members? Are you a receiver or a giver? Throughout Acts we have seen the apostle Paul’s example of radical service for the good of others. He worked, prayed, struggled, taught, and suffered his way all over the Roman Empire so that people could hear the gospel and so that churches could be strengthened. Paul models for a poured-out, other-centered Christianity that points us back to Jesus himself.
