The Most Excellent Way

February 10, 2017 Preacher: Jeramie Rinne Series: 1 Corinthians

Topic: Expository Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:1–13

Synopsis: If you could walk in to a church gathering in ancient Corinth, it would probably seem like a very dynamic congregation. You might even call it "Spirit-filled." You would have heard many people speaking in tongues and others bringing prophetic words from God. You might think, "Wow, I wish my church was this vibrant!" But likely if you stayed longer at Corinth you would begin to see signs of spiritual sickness: divisions, arguments, and factions. This spiritually gifted church lacked something far more important than tongues and prophecies. They lacked love.
