Life Groups

One of the challenges of a big church with so many ethnic, national and denominational backgrounds is finding ways to encourage deep personal relationships within the local body of Christ.

One of the ways in which we at ECC "make the big church small" is through Life Groups. Life Groups provide a forum where we can love one another, serve one another, care for one another, pray for one another, and to generally help one another in a personal way to grow in Christ-likeness.

ECC Life Groups are member led, meet most days during the week (generally in the evening), and are free to choose their own topics for study.

Because life in Abu Dhabi is constantly in flux, we coordinate membership in our Life Groups centrally and we do our best to place you in one that will suit you. If you are interested in becoming part of a Life Group, to participate, host, or facilitate, please REGISTER HERE or contact Mark du Bord: 02 446-4563, ext. 205, mark@eccad.org.

Media

The media team produces audio CD's of our weekly services and a sermon series collection which are then distributed to locations all over the world..

Prayer Teams

Through intercessory prayer we reach out beyond
ourselves and pray for the needs of those around
us so we can see the work of God accomplished in
our lives and then, through our lives, in the lives of
others.

Prayers & Squares

ECC is Chapter #358 of this rapidly growing
international ministry and the only chapter in the
Middle East. It is an outreach ministry combining
the gift of a hand-tied quilt with the gift of prayer
for someone in medical, emotional or spiritual
crisis. Each knot tied on the quilt represents a
specific prayer said for someone in need and
when the quilt is delivered and they lie under it
they know they are "covered in prayer."

To request a quilt, please dowload the digital form,
fill it out and turn it into any P&S volunteer or the
church office.

To get involved, please, contact Christie Eckardt:
seaotter@eim.ae.

Ushers & Greeters

Unique Spiritual Helpful Eager Righteous Servants

A Greeter/Usher is the ultimate servant in the
church. Your only responsibility is to meet the needs
of your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, as well
as any visitors present. It is one of the most
important services a Christian can perform.

Servanthood is the heart of greeting/ushering.
You are meeting both the physical and spiritual
needs of the church, not to mention representing
the church to anyone else that may come walking
through the door. You represent the church, as well
as the Lord Jesus Christ.

All those who are willing to help the Greeter’s &
Usher’s ministry may contact Christopher Darla:
02 446-4563, ext. 201, chrisdarla@eccad.org.
