Friday mornings
8:30 am, 1st service
1st floor, ECC church complex
We will be using Hands On Bible for children
ages 3-11 in the 8:30am service. HOB is just that —
hands-on! Kids dive
in and get involved,
learning as
they explore and
engage. We use fun, real-world
objects to teach
Bible truths. HOB lessons focus on
one
specific Bible Point, and use a variety of
activities to
reinforce that message. The goal is to
send children
home with one life-applicable piece
of Bible truth
each week. NEW! Children ages 9-11 will begin to use our Children Desiring God curriculum in the first service with a module entitled "To Be Like Jesus". This curriculum was carefully written to steer children down the biblical true road of the gospel message. They will learn that being a Christian is not a "to-do" list (or a "don't do" list) but
it is all about having a real heartfelt relationship with a living and reigning Saviour and Lord. It's about having Jesus as your heart's treasure and delight which happens by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone!

Friday mornings
10:15 am, 2nd service
1st floor, ECC church complex
We will be using Hands On Bible for children
ages
3-6 in the 10:15am service. HOB is just that —
hands-on! Kids dive in and get involved, learning as
they explore and engage. We use fun, real-world
objects to teach Bible truths. HOB lessons focus on
one specific Bible Point, and use a variety of
activities to reinforce that message. The goal is to
send children home with one life-applicable piece
of Bible truth
each week.
Children ages 7-11 will be using Children Desiring God in the 10:15am service with a module entitled
"How Majestic is Your Name". Why should children
study the names of God? While it is true that children do not need to know all the names of God,
a study on his names is profitable because it is a
study of the character of God. As children see who
God really is, the irresistible goodness and greatness of his character will draw them to Him. You can't help but admire a God such as Elohim who created the whole universe from within Himself, or not stand in awe of Jehovah, who exists without need of anyone or anything, or be attracted to Jehovah-Jireh who anticipates your every need. Psalm 9:10 tells us, "Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken whose who seek you."
